Sampoorna is the implementation of an open source software named, Fedena, by Government of Kerala, India. It is a school management system project developed to automate the system and process of over 15,000 schools in the Indian state.

The main objective of ‘Sampoorna’ school management software is to facilitate the Principals, Head Masters and teachers to easily implement, track and monitor all activities of students of their school and that of the school itself.

Cumbersome processes the project offers, such as preparation of transfer certificate; copying of admission register; generating of reports related to students, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff; lists for scholarships; preparation of progress reports, SSLC examination database, promotion list and entry forms for sports and cultural events will be made easier with the software. A timetable-preparation software has also been integrated into it.

the Education Department of Government of Kerala, which is the main developer of the project, said that the project helps the state to save 10 million dollars every year.

The project serves almost 300 thousand teachers and 7 million students over 15000 schools all over the Kerala state. The state government makes it as a mandatory to use in all Kerala schools.

The project developed based on Fedena, which is an open source school management system shared under Apache license 2.0, using Ruby on Rails, which is a server-side web application framework written in Ruby under the MIT License.
