After open sourcing Electrode for web apps, Walmart Labs open sources Electrode Native for mobile apps
Last year, Walmart Labs, the technology arm of Walmart, the e-commerce giant, has open sourced Electrode, the React-based platform that powers Walmart.com. This year, they add Electrode Native to their list of open source projects.
After migrating their website to React and Node.js, Walmart released Electrode Native for bringing React Native to existing native apps on iOS and Android
The new platform simplifies the integration of React Native components into existing mobile applications without altering code structure.
